THE GOSPELL


GOSPELL (v.) exact original spelling; as in "Go" & "Spell" forth a good message, true saying and glad speech; to tell the joy-full letters thereof. Gospel (n.) [other: Godspell; God + spell of his letters, promises, & true story.] The glad tidings according to the ancient holy scriptures; that is, the good news of Christ the Lord who came in the flesh and died for our sins, whom God his direct father rose from the dead, and will rise all the dead at the last trompe to reward according to their deeds; the soon coming righteous Kingdom of God, and eternal health.

About two millennia ago, the Messiah passionately came in the flesh; He was called Jesus (YaH'shWaH in Hebrew meaning God's Salvation) and born of a virgin according to the scriptures; by heritage from the beloved seed of King David according to the flesh, and of the promised seed of Abraham; and died for our sins at Calvary shedding his precious blood agreeing to the scriptures; and was buried, and God his father resurrected him on the third day according to His Word; and thus He was seen by many brethren. Acts

".. And he said unto them. These are the words which I spake unto you while I was yet with you: that all must be fulfilled which were written of me in the law of Moses and in the Prophets, and in the Psalmes: Then opened he their wits, that they might understand the scriptures, and said unto them: Thus is it written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise again from death the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, and must begin at Jerusalem." Luke 24

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that ye go, and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit remain, that whatsoever ye shall ask of my father in my name he should give it you.
This command I you, that ye love together. John 16:15-17

Who can be saved?

Jesus beheld them, and said unto them: With men this is unpossible, but with God all things are possible. Mt 19:26

"This is a true saying and by all means worthy to be received, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief." 1 Timothy 1:15; 1John 1

"The time is come, and the kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the Gospel." Mark 1:15; John 3; Hebrews 3

-"Seek ye the Lord, while he may be found, and call upon him while he is near. Let the ungodly man forsake his ways and the unrighteous his imaginations, and turn again unto the Lord: so shall he be merciful unto him: and to our God, for he is is ready to forgive." Isaias 55:6-7;

I know nought by myself: yet am I not thereby justified. It is the Lord that judgeth me. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, which will lighten things that are hid in darkness: and open the counsels of the hearts. And then shall every man have praise of God. 1 Corinthians 4:4-5

-"We as helpers therefore exhort you, that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. For he saith: I have heard thee in a time accepted: and in the day of salvation, have I succoured thee. "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man is as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower falleth away, but the word of the Lord endureth ever. And this is the word which by the Gospell was preached among you." 1Peter 1:23-25; John 3; 1 Thessalonians 2; James

"Marvel not that I said to thee, Ye must be born a new." John 3:7; 2Corinthians 5

"For by grace are ye made safe through faith, and that not of yourselves. For it is the gift of God, and comes not of works, lest any man should boast himself. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesu unto good works, unto the which God ordained us before, that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:8-10; John 1; 1 Timothy 4

This is a true saying. Of these things I would thou shouldest certify, that they which believe God, might be studious to go forward in good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. Titus 3:8

Those that HAVE NO INHERITANCE in the Kingdom of God:

"Do ye not remember how that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?

Be not deceived. For neither fornicators, neither worshippers of images, neither whoremongers, neither weaklings, neither abusers of themselves with mankind, neither thieves, neither the covetous, neither drunkards, neither cursed speakers, neither * pillers, shall inherit the kingdom of God." *pillers: those that charge others excessively, as to pillage the people, what ever the market will bear. 1Corinthians 6:9-10; Romans; Galatians 5; Ephesians 5; Jude; Revelation 21

-"I said: Lord be merciful unto me, heal my soul, for I have sinned against thee."
-"For if thou shalt knowledge with thy mouth that Jesus is the Lord, and shalt believe with thine heart that God raised him up from death, thou shalt be safe." Psalms 41:4; Romans 1, 10:9; 2 Timothy 1, 2 Timothy 2

For he saith to Moses: I will shew mercy to whom I shew mercy: And will have compassion on whom I have compassion. So lieth it not then in a man's will or running {nor cunning}, but in the mercy of God. Romans 9:15-16 (Exodus 3:19)

But I thorow the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. Ga. 2:19

"For the Grace of God, that bringeth salvation unto all men, hath appeared and teacheth us that we should deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and that we should live sober minded, righteously and godly in this present world, looking for that blessed hope and glorious appearing of the mighty God, and of our saviour Jesu Christ which gave himself for us, to redeem us from all unrighteousness, and to purge us a peculiar people unto himself, fervently given unto good works." "And hereby we know that we have known him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith I know him, and {yet} keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the verity is not in him. Whosoever keepeth his word, in him {verily} is the love of God perfect in deed. And thereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he bideth in him, ought to walk even as he walked." "Whosoever believeth that Iesus is Christ, is born of God. And every one that loveth him which begat, loveth him also which was begotten of him. In this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. This is the love of God, that we keep his commandments, and his commandments are not grievous. -".. Which is the first of all the commandments?

Jesus answered him: the first of all the commandments is:
Hear Israel: The Lord God, is one Lord. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength.

This is the first commandment. And the second is like unto this:

Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thy self.

There is none other commandment greater than these."

Owe no thing to any man: but to love one another. For he that loveth another, fulfilleth the law. Rm 13:8

Bear ye one another's burden: and so fulfil the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

"the keeping of the commandments of God is altogether." 1Co 7:19

Jesu so loves that even warned us way ahead of time:

"And ye shall be hated of all men for my names sake.

But whosoever shall endure unto the end, the same shall be safe." Mark 13:13; Matthew 13; Luke 13; Matthew 24 - Mt. 25; 2 Thessalonians; Revelation

".. I tell you he will avenge them and that quickly. When the son of man comes, suppose ye, that he shall find faith on the earth." Luke 18:8; 2 John 1; Acts 1:11; Mark 13

He that believeth on the son, hath everlasting life. And he that beloveth not the son, shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36;

It is a true saying: If we be dead with him, we also shall live with him; If we be patient, we shall also reign with him; If we deny him, he also shall deny us; If we believe not, yet abideth he faithful; He cannot deny himself. 2Tm. 2:11-13

The resurrection of the dead; and, a new heaven and a new earth.

"But now is Christ risen from the dead, and is become the first fruits of them that slept. For by a man came death, and by a man came resurrection of the dead. For as by Adam all die: even so by Christ, shall all be made alive, and every man in his own order. The first is Christ, then they that are Christs at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he hath delivered up the kingdom to God the father, when he hath put down all rule, authority and power. For he must reign till he have put all his enemies under his feet. " 1 Corinthians 15; Psalm 8

O that my words were written, O that they were put in a book: would God they were graven with an iron pen in lead or in stone. For I am sure, that my redeemer liveth, and that I shall rise out of the earth in the latter day: that I shall be clothed again with this skin, and see God in my flesh. Yea I my self shall behold him, not with other but with these same eyes. My reins are consumed within me, when ye say: Why do not we persecute him? We have found an occasion against him. But beware of the sword, for the sword will be avenged of wickedness, and be sure, that there is a judgement. Let men this wise esteem us, even as the ministers of Christ, and disposers of the secrets of God. Furthermore it is required of the disposers that they be found faithful. And he said unto me: seal not the sayings of prophesy of this book. For the time is at hand.{tyme is at honde}
He that doth evil, let him do evil still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be more righteous: and he that is holy, let him be more holy.
And behold I come shortly, and my reward with me, to give every man according as his deeds shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Blessed are they that do his commandments, (those who wash their robes in the blood of the lamb) that their power may be in the tree of life, and may enter in thorow the gates into the city. For with out shall be dogs and enchanters, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth or maketh leasings.
I Jesus sent mine angel, to testify unto you these things in the congregations. I am the root{rote} and the generation of David, and the bright morning star.
And the spirit and the bride said come. And let him that heareth, say also come. And let him that is a thirst come. And let whosoever will, take of the water of life free.
Revelation 22:10-29

".. The Lord is not slack to fulfil his promise, as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward, and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance. Nevertheless the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in the which day, the heavens shall perish with terrible noise, and the elements shall melt with heat, and the earth with the works that are therein shall burn. If all these things shall perish, what manner persons ought ye to be in holy conversation, and godliness: looking for, and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens shall perish with fire, and the elements shall be consumed with heat. Nevertheless we look for a new heaven, and a new earth, according to his promise, wherein dwelleth righteousness."

The Lord Jesu Christ is come in the flesh; this

same Christ Jesus that was since taken up

to heaven from the Apostles, received in a

cloud, shall so return in the flesh according

to the Scriptures. He comes quickly;

As he was taken up, is soon coming,

even as the Apostles saw him go

into heaven. He comes

with clouds, and

with the glorified body;

The God and his son cometh

according to the Scriptures;
